ST-Style
The ST-Style electric guitar was designed in 1954 and has been continuously manufactured to the present day. These guitars are very versatile, usable for all styles of music and has been used in many genres, including country, rock, pop, folk, soul, rhythm and blues, blues, jazz, punk, and heavy metal, although we advise to fit at least 1 humbucker pickup in the bridge position for modern metal.
These guitars are known for their "quacky" tone of the middle and bridge pickups. Popularized by players such as: Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Rory Gallagher, Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones), John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Brad Delson (Linkin Park), & John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
An excellent choice for clean tones up to classic rock.
