SC-Style
The SC-Style model is a solid body electric guitar that was first sold in 1952. Originally considered a failure, with low production and sales, it is today one of the best-known electric guitar types in the world. This guitar is a monster! These guitars have been used in many genres, including rock, country, pop, soul, rhythm and blues, blues, jazz, reggae, punk, and heavy metal
Although these models excel with heavier styles they can produce some beautiful jazzy and bluesy tones. The humbucker pickup is known for it’s darker, more powerful sound with lends perfectly to heavy rock and metal, dial the gain back and you will get some creamy warm mellow tones with legendary sustain. Artists who have made the SC-Style their main axe include: Slash, Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Gary Moore, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Bob Marley, Zakk Wylde...the list is endless
